OWH Sketch #112 and Blog Candy!

Hey Bleeps(Blog Peeps!)

OMGoodness, it been awhile since I've done a challenge from Operation Write Home!!!! Oh, how I've missed it!!! Even my hubby was asking about it the other day, LOL!!! I've taken on too much design team stuff over this past year, plus being an everyday mommy to 5 kids and working PT, has had it's toll on me for sure!!!! I'm getting too old to take on too much, I just wanna make cards......whaaaaa, LOL!!! ;)

Anyways, today's card is for OWH, so I'm certain some military family will enjoy it....I am really starting to feel a bit more comfortable with CAS cards, can you tell? The more I do them, the better I get at it!!! I remember I used to stress over them like crazy, LOL!!! ;)

OK, now about my blog candy, I realized it's been some time since I've done blog candy as well......so Sale-a-bration is a perfect time to give away a stamp set, right?!?!?!

Anyone who places an online order with me for $50 or more (before tax/shipping)......will go into a drawing to win the new Mouthwatering stamp set from the SU! Occasions Mini Catty (found on pg. 34)!!! Plus, the winner will receive a 20% discount on their order (refunded to you only after purchase has been made and winner drawn!)......and you can't go wrong either because you will also get to pick a product from the Sale-a-bration Brochure for FREE, as well as get your name into the drawing!!!! OWH Sketch #90

Hey there Bleeps (blog peeps!)

Today's card is for the challenge sketch over at Operation Write Home. Sorry the pics are a bit dark, I was too lazy to clean off my usual place where I normally take my pics, LOL!!! My scrapbook room is a total mess, ugh.....I guess I'll pick it up now, LOL!!!

I added a dab of Crystal Effects to the kitty's nose and put some black crumbles of card stock on it....kinda like my own flocking! I masked off a punched circle and sponged the pumpkin ink all over the background..... Oh, and don't worry.....I mail out one large box of my cards to OWH a year.....that way I don't feel like I have to reach all the deadlines on time (WOW! Jeez, now I sound completely lazy, HUH???? My excuse is I have 5 kids at home, LOL!!! Does that make a difference at all???)!!! LOL!!! So anyways, this will go to some soldier's child next Halloween, I'm sure!!! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fab week!!!;)

Here's my take on the challenge, as you can see I made a boy and a girl card. I liked this simple sketch.....didn't take me long to make both cards!!!! I did change up the girl card a little, and I had to add my sentiment there...I got a dab of ink in that spot, LOL!!! ;)
