Manly Card For LNS DT!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!! Today's card is for the Design Team Challenge over at Late Night Stampers. The challenge was to make masculine cards. I will be the first to admit it that this is not my strong point, I do struggle with making masculine cards! Plus, I don't own alot of manly stamps or embellishments! I think that needs to change, LOL!!!

My card also fits in with last Sunday's Sketch Challenge# 55 over at Operation Write Home. I sponged the background and each panel as well....which is something I love doing!!! Sponging is my thang, LOL!!! I also distressed the panels with the distressing tool and used an embossing folder on them to give it texture! 1. Card stocks: Not Quite Navy,WW,Chocolate Chip,More Mustard and Pumpkin Pie
2. Inks: Daffodil Delight,More Mustard,Pumpkin Pie,Chocolate Chip and Black Stazon
3. Twill Tape
4. Square Lattice Embossing Folder
5. Stamp Sets: Nature Silhouettes and Well Scripted
6. Walk in the Park DSP (green piece)

Last two Thank you cards!

OK,so I think I'm all done with those thank you cards for Laura. She wanted 3 male cards for some of the hospital staff,I made a tree card the other day....so these were the last 2 for the men. I will call her tomorrow to make sure! I see now that the greeting on the horse card is not straight....oh,well....these are for men and it's handmade!! LOL....after all I'm not perfect!!hehehe......

Recipe for first card :

• Card stocks : Kraft,Creamy Caramel,VV,Choc chip
• Inks : Timber Brown Stazon,Creamy Caramel
• Twill Tape ribbon
• Stamp Sets : Bareback and So Many Sayings (both retired)
• Water spritzed on the creamy caramel card stock then crumpled up and sponged

Recipe for second card :

• Card stocks : Kraft,VV,BB,Sahara Sand
• Inks : Timber Brown Stazon(main image) Creamy Caramel,not quite navy,Vintage Violet (retired),Elegant Eggplant,Basic Gray(all for sponging BG)
• Stamp Sets: Nature Silhouettes,So Many Sayings
• Photo corner punch
• Distressing tool
