First Christmas Card of 2015

Hey Bleep (blog peeps)!

I sure hope you have been doing well. Sorry that I haven't kept up with my blog. Life you know, I seem to be busy all the time. I mean well, really I do!

Anywho, here is a card I made to start my stash for Christmas....yes, I'm always behind....last minute....always, LOL!!! I used the new SU! stamp set called Wonderland and the coordinating DSP Winter Wonderland. I used the wooden snowflake, gold doily, liquid pearls and gold thread from my stash. I hope you like it. There seems to be a small reflection or what appears to be something on the top right doily....not sure what that is, as it doesn't show on the card in real life....? Weird.

Mother's day Cards

I hope you all have been doing great and that you had a lovely Easter.

Here's some Mother's Day cards that I have been working on. Hope you like them. I shamelessly CASED them all from Pinterest, LOL!!

You can tell that the first two pics were taken outside, which totally makes the card so much better as far as clear, crisp images and colors....except for the shadows.

These next two cards have a yellowish tinge to them....the only yellow on the card is the honeycomb stamp I used, the cardstock is actually Naturals Ivory.....go figure.....

These last two pics were taken at night with a flash.....a few years ago, my camera was stolen.....I haven't replaced it yet.....so, all my pics are taken with my cell and edited that way too, LOL!!! One day I will replace my camera.....sigh.

Hope you have been doing well....been raining here....A lot!!!!! I know during the hot Texas summers....we will be praying for the rain....but right now, I'm praying for it to stop, LOL!!!

I made a card for a lady at church....her daughter is 35 years old. She is suffering from cancer right now. Please say a prayer for Alisha, she sure needs lots of them!!!

I hope this card brings a smile to her face....love this cute SU! stamp set!!!

I watercolored the image and put googly eyes on the goat, LOL!!! I also popped the pigs head up with popdots.....this set is so much fun!!!!! Thanks so much for stopping by, have a blessed week!!!! ;)

Sympathy Cards

Hi Bleeps (Blog Peeps)!

Hope everyone is doing good. So far this year hasn't gone so great for us. My M-I-L came to visit for Christmas and her car broke down.....she's been without a car since then. We finally got it out of the shop, so we will be delivering it to her tomorrow evening. My step-dad had a mild heart attack and my older sis has been hospitalized with severe asthma problems. They are both doing better now.....sis will have to spend another few days in the hospital and believe it or not, my step-dad went home the next day! Crazy.

 And if that isn't enough, my pastor's younger brother passed away....so he will be out of town for a few days.  Also, a lady from my church lost her 6 month old baby boy. He had so many complications from birth and was just tired of fighting. God Bless their souls. I can't even imagine losing a baby, just breaks my heart. Please pray for everyone!

Here are two sympathy cards that I made for them, I still have two more other cards to make. Another sympathy one and a thinking of you for a lady at my church who just had surgery. I will have to get those made on Thursday on my day off.

Sorry the pics aren't the best....but my camera was stolen and still haven't replaced it yet. Plus, I took these really fast without good lighting, etc. Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Paper cupcakes anyone?

My mom came to see me and we had lots of fun decorating paper cupcakes. She has a tea room in her antique booth.....well, this is the only one we made so far, LOL!!! So, I'm definitely going to be making more.... fun and easy to make....yes, a little time consuming....but so worth it!!! Now go and make some of your own!!!

Another birthday card!

So, here's another birthday card I made for my sweet friend since the 6th grade! The only thing that I wasn't happy with was that you can see my adhesive through the vellum. ...grrrrrrrrrrr!  I realized it only after I had already adhered the happy birthday font on and there was no way I could get it off without ruining it.....but I added the lace adhesive to cover up the top part, LOL! Oh, well. ...life goes on, right? Most everything I used was CTMH. Anyways, thanks for stopping by. ....hope you have a blessed week!
