New Goodies to play with!

I made this card today for the sketch challenge # 115 over at Friday Sketches. Here is their sketch they gave us to play along with.


And here is my version of it. I pretty much followed the sketch. I'm absolutely lovin' the NEW Love Letter DSP from Stampin' Up!! I made up some kits that I will be selling in my new Kit Club that have this paper and this crochet trim ribbon!!!! You don't want to miss out on this kit!!! Recipe for card:

  • Card stocks: Very Vanilla and Riding Hood Red
  • Inks: Basic Black and Riding Hood Red
  • Crochet Trim Victoria
  • Punched Potpourri Hostess only Level 1 Stamp Set
  • Punches: Full Heart and Two Step Bird

Fall Card

Today I'm entering this card in two challenges! This first one is Operation Write Home Fall Card with no sentiment Challenge! The next is for Friday Sketchers: Sketch Challenge #112. Here is the Sketch :



And here's my take on it:




As you can see,I changed it up a little bit. I used the crimper tool then crumpled up each leaf for added texture. I like the look of using the same pattern paper on one card like this. I just cut the paper to each panel and turned it so you would be able to tell they are different panels. I embossed one of the panels as well. Raffia to me says FALL!!!   • Leaf Die Cut using Big Shot

  • Close to cocoa ink for Sponging

  • Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch

  • Crimper Tool
