Hey there Bleeps!
I hope your week is going good so far! Today's project I made for a door prize for my upcoming scrapbooking class at the local library. It's an altered Starbucks carton and bottles. I'm not sure if I'll leave the bottles empty or not.....that way if they wanted to put something in them to give as a gift they could, what do you think?

Wow Wednesday ~Altered Vintage Projects!
Hey there Bleeps!
Well, I barely made it for this to be a Wow Wednesday, LOL!! I altered some items recently to put in a little boutique along with about 35 cards....hopefully I can sell some stuff.......
Anyways, on both projects I used the new Botanical Gazette DSP from the Occasions Mini....I love that paper!!! I bought a little silver tray from a thrift store awhile back.....after seeing some altered ones on the net before!!! Then my mom sent me this vintage spoon, the handle is bent back....I'm assuming for babies when they ate??? I just covered them with paper and added some embellies.....too easy and lots of fun too!!!
Anyways, thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of the week! ;)

Daniel's Birthday Stuff
![]() |
| inside of the card |
My son's best friend Daniel is having a birthday party on Sat. So, Hunter made this birthday card (a little help from me) using the Cricut. I then made him a altered clipboard with his initial and a bank can with his name on it. We will fill the can with some dollar bills to get his money collection going! I hope he likes everything!!!
As you can see, I still haven't figured out how to get rid of the 'white background' parts to my buttons and banner. If anyone knows of a tutorial and can point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend! ;)

Wow Wednesday
Hello and happy Wednesday to ya'!!! I made this to add to my Etsy store, it's for you to put your prayers into. I have one that I made for my family last year....my kids are always scribbling little notes to God on....I told them that they can write whatever they wanted to and I wouldn't look.....it's private between God and them!!! Boy, that's hard not to want to open that up and read their thoughts!!! ;) ....it's like putting sweets in front of a diabetic and saying look but don't touch!!!LOL!!! Anyways this falls under one of my own personal challenges called Wow Wednesday. I started those challenges when I started this blog but haven't been keeping up on it ,but I'm going to really try and do something crafty everyday and start blogging a little better....WELL,I have started my week off pretty good,so far!!! I just hope I can hold up!!! I'm also going to try and do at least one video a month as well ;)
If you would ever like to try one of my challenges, please feel free....just send me a pic of it so I can post it here too!!! I'd love to see your creative projects....you can see my list of challenges on the bottom right hand side of my blog. Thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of the week! ;)

Hey guys, just thought I'd show you some stuff I made that I will be putting on my Etsy store....I know that I was griping about it a couple of weeks ago....I even thought about shutting it down. But,I decided to just add a little disclaimer saying that I'm not responsible for lost or stolen items!!! Hopefully that will help!!! I made two little simple cards and then a bath collection set!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!! ;)

Big Shot Flowers!!

Hello peeps! Today I am going to share the cutest idea ever! I got the idea a few months ago from some other SU! demos, but I just now was able to make one! These flowers are made using old blue jeans, but you could use whatever fabric/old material from clothes that you wanted! I will be making a video tutorial next week on my version of how I made mine,so stayed tuned. You simply run your fabric through the big shot using the Flower Folds Die .You will get 4 sizes of flowers, then I just stacked mine together a hand sewed a button in the middle to hold it all together. I added it to a headband with some strong adhesive, but you can do all sorts of things with this. Thanks for stopping by!
Recipe for Fabric Flowers :
- Big Shot Machine by Sizzix
- Stampin' UP! Flower Folds Die
- Extended Cutting Pads
- Material of your choice
- Button for center
- sewing needle and thread to match

Valentine Pop Top Can
Hello and thank you for visiting me today. I made this pop top can as a teacher gift for Valentine's Day.This was a soup can,I washed it then dried it out.I will fill it with some chocolate candy. I used some paper and silk flowers I've had for awhile. I did hand sew the button on and punched the sentiment out with the large and small tag punches.I'm not sure of the stamp set,it's retired now, but it might be called 'Too Terrific Tags'.I also used my cricut for the scallop on the top. Thanks for stopping by!

Wow Wednesday

Hello again!! Happy Wednesday to you!! I made this altered pop top can for a gift, you add candy inside and they are super easy to make! Just get any sized pop top can, open from the bottom with a hand held can opener and eat the contents inside(soup, mixed fruit,etc.). Then you wash it in the dishwasher, once dried then you can add you treat inside and decorate! After you add your treat you have to hot glue the bottom back on,then the recipient opens from the top! Great way to recycle as well! They can then use the can as a pen/pencil holder. Thanks for stopping by!Recipe for Sweet Stuff Altered Can :

Wow Wednesday Altered Project

Today I finished a project that I've been working on for todays challege, using those Starbucks Frappuccino 4 packs you can get at the stores. I think that it turned out pretty cute. I didn't make sure that the DSP was lined up very good. So,I had to put a strip of DSP to cover the 'seam'. Then the seam wasn't lined up either,...so....I covered that up by the strips of DSP on the top and the bottom........so needless to say,it's a bit 'bulky' to take in and out!! I added the layers of silk flowers and punched flowers because it looked weird to have the strip of DSP going down the middle!! Crazy,I know....you can't see it now....but in the end,I'm happy how it came out! Thanks for stopping by!
