SSCB Favorite Stamp

I made this card for the Sweet Stampin Challenge Blog....the challenge was to use your favorite stamp! Well, most of my stamps I really do dearly love each and every one of them....or I would've never bought them, LOL!!! But I really love this stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Inspired by Nature. It makes really fast cards because it's a double mounted background sized stamp! I colored it with markers and used a retired stamp set for the sentiment!!! I used the color spritzer tool with a chocolate chip marker and tore a scrap piece of Old Olive card stock to help give it a little texture! I hope you like it,thanks for taking a peek! Have a great evening! ;)

Recipe for card:

  • Card stocks :WW,Old olive and Regal Rose
  • Inks: Garden Green,Early Espresso and Close to Cocoa
  • SU! Markers: Old Olive,Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip
  • Large and Scallop Oval Punches
  • Regal Rose Stitched Ribbon
  • Stamps Sets: Inspired by Nature and So Many Sayings

Hugs & Kisses!

Well, I have tried to post this picture for a couple of days now,but things have been crazy around here! Two kids have been sick and we decided to adopt a dog! I know... like we don't already have a house full!! But the kids have been wanting a dog since Gypsy (our beagle) disappeared two years ago. We went to the Humane Society and adopted a Lab/mix. He is the sweetest thing ever!! He's 2-3 years old, sits when told, leashes so good, and is already potty trained!! We really lucked out with him!! I'll post a picture soon,I promise. He needs to gain weight.....wish I could say that....instead of having to say loose, hahahaha!!
