Patriotic for Late Night Stampers!

Hey There Bleeps!
I hope you had a very Blessed Easter, we sure did! Remember, Easter ain't all about eggs, candy and the Bunny, LOL!!! It's about what Christ did for us!!! And I'm sure glad He did....cause' I don't know about you...but I'm a sinner in need of help for life!! ;)

Well, today's card is for the challenge over at Late Night Stampers, to make something patriotic. I used some retired DSP that actually is a western themed paper pack, but I liked the colors and it did have some stars on it too!!! I made the 'banner' by using the scallop square punch and cutting it in half and layering it. It's a pretty simple card....hope you like it!
Have a awesome week and thanks for stopping by!!! ;)

    OWH Sketch #22

    Hey Bleeps (blog peeps!),
We got back from our vacation Tues. evening and my dad and step mom left today to go back home!!! We had a fab time at Tybee Island.....but I was disappointed in Paula Deen's restaurant. They DO NOT take reservations for one thing, they open  at 11 am,but people start lining up at 7 am for the first come first serve!!! We got there at 11:45 am.....they DID NOT have a seat for us until 9:30 pm that evening!!Can you believe that!?!?! Needless to say we ate at another restaurant on the river front. Some other people were eating there because they couldn't get into Paula's restaurant either....they told us that some other people they had talked to said it WAS NOT worth the wait!!! I mean it's not like Paula or her son's actually cook there anymore. There was a tour we could've gone on that just took you to some of Paula's fav places in Savannah and then you got to eat at Uncle Bubba's (that's her brother's restaurant)....but that was like $50 bucks!!! Give me a break!!! We were very disappointed in the whole fiasco!!! =(
So anyways ....I got to play with some new Stampin' Up! goodies and try out the new sketch challenge over at Operation Write Home. I love these new colors from SU! they are very vibrant!!
