Stylin' with Elements!




I made these two cards using a new Stampin' Up! stamp set. I am really going to try to make two cards at a time when I need to make one....that way I can send one to the troops and such!! I needed a Sympathy card for my neighbor....her Grandma passed away. I think I'm going to start making more of these types of cards.....I always forget about them until I NEED to make one and then it's kinda sad as your creating it,KWIM? They are very simple cards,but I do like how they turned out. Here's the deets and thanks for stopping by....have a great day! ;)

  • Card stocks : Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler
  • Square Lattice Embossing Folder
  • Half pearls from stash
  • Ribbon from stash
  • Scallop Trim Border Punch
  • Stamp Sets : Elements of Style and Say it with Scripture (retired)


Recipe for card 2:
  • Card stocks: Very Vanilla and Whisper White
  • Square Lattice Embossing Folder
  • Basic Black Satin Ribbon
  • Half Pearls from stash
  • Stamp Sets: Elements of Style and Close as a Memory
  • Beautiful Wings Embosslit
  • Matchbox Bigz XL Die for tag
  • distressing tool

These are gorgeous Holley. I particularly like burgundy one. in my opinion the simple cards are often the most stunning. Maybe it's just a case of less is more who know. LOL
