OWH Challenge

Hello Bleeps(Blog Peeps!)
My card today is for two challenges over at Operation Write Home. I forgot to do the challenge for the easel card the other day,so this fits in with that challenge. Plus, this one is for the challenge for the "For the girls" challenge....this could be for a anniversary or miss you for a solider to his wife. I'm not the best colorer in the world,so to hide my flaws I sponged and embossed the image....hid them pretty well I think,LOL!!! I used two top note diecuts and cut them all in half so I could frame the image. I found out that you can make homemade popdots from your left over rubber you get from your SU! stamp sets. Pretty cool way when your desperate for some dimension but don't have anything ;)
Well, thanks for stopping by and have a fab day!!!!

If this is a sample of your inability to color...

This is beautiful, and I love the little bit of ribbon on the bottom of the third panel. Nice touch!

I like easel cards and this one is so lovely. Great idea for covering up our "mistakes".

Holley your cards are always pretty. I had to laugh with the popdots because the one SU party that I went to years ago, that was one thing the demonstrators told us to use the scraps for. Until recently, that's all I used.

Holley, this card is a beautiful gift for someone special. It reminds me of a Japanese screen. I used the SU textured lattice folder for the Meljen's Designs challenge; I love it!!
