OWH Challenge

Hello Bleeps(Blog Peeps!)
My card today is for two challenges over at Operation Write Home. I forgot to do the challenge for the easel card the other day,so this fits in with that challenge. Plus, this one is for the challenge for the "For the girls" challenge....this could be for a anniversary or miss you for a solider to his wife. I'm not the best colorer in the world,so to hide my flaws I sponged and embossed the image....hid them pretty well I think,LOL!!! I used two top note diecuts and cut them all in half so I could frame the image. I found out that you can make homemade popdots from your left over rubber you get from your SU! stamp sets. Pretty cool way when your desperate for some dimension but don't have anything ;)
Well, thanks for stopping by and have a fab day!!!!

Build-A-Bear Cards and Dress-up Gift!

front of boy card

front of girl card
Hello Bleeps!
Whew! This week has been busy.....I finally got around to do the Jo-ann's Craft for a cause Promotion! I thought we could do more than one entry, but when I went back to read the rules....you can only enter once. So,I need your help in deciding if either of these two cards I made will be one of my entries!!! Just leave me a comment and let me know if you like the boy card or the girl card better. Also,do you think I should do something different? The winner will get a $1500.00 gift card to Joann's plus their charity that they are making their donation will win some $$ too!!! You will be judged pretty harshly it seems from the rules I read....so I'm not sure these are good enough!!! My sewing skills aren't as good as some other ladies that will be entering, so don't look too closely,LOL!!!! So, please just let me know your honest opinion....I can take it!!!

I was happy to see that both of these cards went with Sweet Stampin' Challenge blogs Saturday Challenge,to stitch on your cards!! Double YAY!!! So,I made a birthday card for a boy and a girl. Both of these cards also has a gift for the birthday kid!!! They are felt paper dolls!!! The clothes will cling to each other so the kids can play with them!!! In my head they both came out better, but I still think they are cute and any child who gets these I think would like them too!! And they both fit into a standard sized envelope,so they are perfect for our troops!! How fun this would be for a mommy and me class...hummmmm....
Here's the pics and deets.....thanks for stopping by!!! have a great week!! ;)
